Frank Washington - Participant

Frank Washington is the CEO and founder of Crossings TV, an Asian language multi-market cable television network. Crossings serves a number of language groups, most prominently, Mandarin and Cantonese, with a variety of news, entertainment and digital content.

Washington has been an owner and operator of broadcast radio, television and cable properties. He has been an executive at McClatchy Newspapers and Times Mirror, in addition to serving at high levels at the Federal Communications Commission and the White House.

Washington has served on the boards of a number of for profit companies, presently chairing that of a Sacramento community bank, Golden Pacific Bancorp. He has chaired the boards of a half dozen Sacramento nonprofit organizations, including the Sacramento Chamber, and local noncommercial television and radio station groups. He currently heads the political action entities for the Sacramento and California Chambers. Mr. Washington is a graduate of Cornell University and Yale Law School.
