Caitria O'Neill - Participant

Caitria O'Neill is a co-founder and CEO of Recovers. After a tornado scrambled her hometown in 2011, Caitria created infrastructure to help organize local relief efforts. This system evolved into a disaster preparedness and recovery technology company called Recovers. Recovers has helped communities save millions of dollars, incorporate tens of thousands of civilian responders in response, and prepare residents for emergencies. The software was most recently used in Moore, OK's tornado recovery -

Caitria is a graduate of Harvard University. Prior to founding Recovers she was a backpacking expedition leader in Norway and did a brief stint as a street musician in Slovakia. When not managing recovery logistics or scaling her startup, she's been working on a novel about post-apocalyptic balance of power in the Pacific Northwest.
