Michelle Lee - Participant

Michelle Lee is cofounder and CEO of Textizen, where she works to help City Hall open its ears by collecting text message-based citizen input for more data-driven, representative decisions. In 2012, she was a Code for America fellow in the City of Philadelphia.

Previously, Michelle worked at Google leading projects to aid in understanding and improving user experiences in Maps, Flu Trends, and Docs. She started Forms under Google’s 20% time policy, and it is now the fasting growing form of Google Doc. Previously, she designed online trust and safety tools for eBay, cars for baby boomers, and studied human-computer interaction at Stanford University’s Symbolic Systems Program.
