Narinder Sufi - Participant

Narinder Sufi was appointed Deputy State Librarian for the California State Library in August 2017 by Governor Jerry Brown. Narinder has nearly 15 years experience in library management, project management and community development. Prior to this role she was director of libraries and community development at Luton Culture in England.

At the California State Library, Narinder supported the state librarian in achieving his vision - to make the California State Library the best it can be - by developing strategic direction and policy to ensure the California State Library achieves its goals and manages resources as effectively as possible.

Narinder holds a Master’s degree in information management (librarianship) from Thames Valley University in London. She is also a Prince II qualified project manager.
