AnchorFree has been selected by Forbes in both 2013 and 2014 among America's Most Promising Companies and among the Most Important Security Start-ups of 2013 by Business Insider. David has raised $63 million in three venture financing rounds for AnchorFree from blue chip investors including Goldman Sachs, RENN Capital, former CEO of MCI - Bert Roberts, the former CFO of IBM - Doug Maine, the founder of Webex - Subrah Iyar, and Esther Dyson.

David is an active investor and is passionate about start-ups with a social mission focused on solving real world billion person problems through technology. David is an investor and Board member @ www.GlobeIn.com (a global marketplace connecting artisans from remote regions to buyers in the developed world) and www.Venturocket.com (a start-up focused at connecting job seekers with jobs), an investor in Modern Meadow (a Company focused on engineering cultured leather and meat from stem cells to solve global food challenges) and an investor and executive producer in #ChicagoGirl documentary which won the Amnesty International Award and multiple awards at the Amsterdam and Berlin film festivals (the movie is about a 19 year old girl from Syria that is helping lead the Syrian revolution, using technology from her suburban Chicago home).
