Lee Rainie - Member

Lee Rainie is the Director of the Pew Research Center’s Internet Project, a non-profit, non–partisan “fact tank” that studies the social impact of the internet. Lee is a co-author of Networked: The new social operating system and has co-authored five books about the future of the internet that are based on Project research. Since 2011, the Project has been conducting special research on the role of libraries for patrons and communities. That material can be accessed at: http://libraries.pewinternet.org/. Prior to launching the Pew Internet Project, Lee was managing editor of the newsmagazine U.S. News & World Report.
