David Don is Senior Director for Public Policy at Comcast Corporation, a position he has held since January 2009. Prior to that, he was the Senior Director for Spectrum Policy. Before joining Comcast in 2006, David was an attorney in the Communications Practice of Willkie Farr & Gallagher where he specialized in wireless and common carrier matters before the FCC, Congress, and in federal courts.
David has worked extensively on the FCC's public policy and spectrum allocation policies for over a decade. In his current position he is primarily responsible for helping Comcast develop its wireless and broadband strategies, including Comcast's recent spectrum transactions with Verizon Wireless and AT&T. He is also involved in developing and implementing Comcast's and NBCUniversal's strategies for the FCC incentive auction proceeding. David has also spent considerable time developing and implementing the company's strategy around the implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, including the FCC's National Broadband Plan initiative and NTIA's Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) and broadband mapping efforts.
