Kenneth Cukier is the Data Editor of The Economist and co-author of the New York Times Bestseller “Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think,” which has been translated into 15 languages. He has covered business, technology and politics at The Economist for over a decade from Boston, London and most recently as the Tokyo correspondent in 2007-12. He previously worked at the Wall Street Journal Asia in Hong Kong and International Herald Tribune in Paris. In 2002-04 Kenn was a research fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the board of directors of International Bridges to Justice, which promotes legal rights in developing countries.
