Reed Hundt - Participant

Reed Hundt is the Chief Executive Officer of the Coalition for Green Capital, a non-profit group that promotes the development of National and State green banks. He is also a principal at REH Advisers, an advisory firm serving private firms. He was chairman of the Federal Communications Commission from 1993 to 1997, and he was on Barack Obama’s 2008-2009 Presidential transition team. He also served on the board of directors for the United Negro College Fund from 2010-2014.

He sits on the boards of directors of Intel Corporation, and ASSIA, a communications software firm. He also serves on boards or as an advisor at GTCR, a private equity firm; the Connecticut Green Bank; Yale School of Management; SmartSky Networks; and HaloNeuro.

Hundt has written many articles and four books: Zero Hour: Time to Rebuild the Clean Power Platform (E-Book; Odyssey, 2013), The Politics of Abundance: How Technology Can Fix the Budget, Revive the American Dream, and Establish Obama’s Legacy, an e-book co-authored with Blair Levin (E-book; Odyssey, 2012), In China’s Shadow: The Crisis of American Entrepreneurship (Yale University Press, 2006) and You Say You Want A Revolution: A Story of Information Age Politics (Yale University Press, 2000). He graduated from Yale College, and Yale Law School.
